SS2's art design makes me cry internally. Hopefully we can have a return to that in SS4 and stay as far away as possible from SS2. The Medieval chapter was kinda bad (it's when they started to go crazy with it), but the South American and Persian chapters were fantastic. The beginning half has some lack luster level design (the second half reminds me of FE which I enjoyed), a few of the enemy additions were bad, the new weapons were great, but overall it just felt like an actual Serious Sam game. It crossed the line from "not taking itself seriously" into "what in the ever living fuck." Football playing orcs? Clowns riding unicycles with bombs? Just.what?
